Description: Private 40-Hectare Mountain Estate with Historic Villa – Absolute Seclusion in Relleu, Alicante !EUR 1.650.000 for a quicker sale. Price Reduction from €2,150,000Fully restored historic castle/villa set on 400,000 m² (40 hectares) of private mountainous land in the municipality of Relleu. Originally constructed in 1900 and renovated in 2000, the property combines preserved historic features with functional modern upgrades. This is not a suburban home, it is a remote mountain estate designed for privacy, space, and independence. The property offers a total built area of 529 m² distributed over two floors, with 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, pool & private garage of 111 m² ( great for a conversion into a guesthouse ). The structure retains its original character with restored oak beams sourced from a French castle, natural stone walls, handcrafted flooring, and antique hardwood doors. The living spaces are open and practical, with high ceilings and a fireplace, and the kitchen is fully equipped for everyday use. Central heating is installed. The estate is defined by complete privacy, with no immediate neighbours and uninterrupted views across mountains, valleys, and distant sea seen from the tennis court. The land extends across 40 hectares, offering space for agriculture, animals, or retreat-style use. Within the grounds there is a tennis court, a wine cellar, and an outdoor summer kitchen suitable for gatherings and long-term living.Relleu is a traditional inland mountain village known for its dramatic landscape, low population density, and quiet, non-touristic environment. The area includes the Pasarela de Relleu, a cliffside walkway attracting hikers, as well as historic dam and reservoir systems. Access to the property is via winding mountain roads, which form part of its secluded character. The coast is approximately 35 minutes away, and Alicante Airport is around one hour by car. This property is suited to buyers seeking complete privacy, a self-contained lifestyle, or a base for retreat or hospitality use, subject to licensing. It is not suitable for those looking for quick access to urban amenities or standard residential living. Properties of this scale, with historic character and this level of land ownership in Alicante province, are increasingly rare.
