Dreaming of Spain Inmobiliaria
Dreaming of Spain Inmobiliaria is a family-run estate agency founded in 2024 by Dean Phibbs and Marta Podsiodlo.
Our story began on the coast of Alicante, working with villas and apartments across Orihuela Costa. It was there that we built our knowledge of the Spanish property market and, more importantly, learned what buyers and sellers really value when making such an important move.
Over time, our own interests took us inland. We found ourselves drawn to the character and space that you simply don’t get with coastal properties — traditional fincas, country houses, villas, estates and homes with a story to tell. The areas around Alicante and Murcia are full of them, from beautifully restored village houses to larger country properties with land and multiple buildings.
That’s where Dreaming of Spain Inmobiliaria began to take shape. Based near Pinoso and Monóvar, we now work with properties across Southern Spain, combining our experience of the coast with a genuine appreciation for the countryside and the people who live here.
We’re a small agency, and that’s something we value. We know our clients, we know our properties and we’re personally involved from the first conversation through to the completion. For us, it’s about good communication, honest advice and knowing when the right property comes along.
Dean Phibbs
Dean has worked in Spanish real estate since 2021, starting his career as a team leader with an established property brand. Those years gave him a solid understanding of the market, along with the experience needed to negotiate, manage transactions and deal with the unexpected parts of buying and selling in Spain.
Today, Dean brings that experience to Dreaming of Spain Inmobiliaria, with a particular interest in country properties, fincas and larger homes. He takes a straightforward approach to his work and believes that good estate agency is as much about listening and understanding as it is about selling.
Marta Podsiodlo
Marta looks after the creative side of Dreaming of Spain Inmobiliaria, from photography and social media to the way our properties are presented online.
With a natural eye for detail, she makes sure each property is shown as it really is — capturing the character, setting and details that can easily get lost in a standard property listing. She also manages our social media and marketing, helping the right properties reach the right people.
Together, Dean and Marta bring different strengths to the business, but share the same approach: do things properly, be honest with clients and take pride in the properties we represent.
